Blood Moon has survived many tragedies through out it’s history, but the next to come may be to strong for the past legends to conquer alone. The land becomes shrouded in darkness and the winds begin to change as a strange castle appears in the north east of the land. A new beast is at bay, but it will not be for long. It has been, but three years since the end of the Blood Prodigy Curse and this site is getting more in depth story line as it progresses. Blood Moon features a vast amount of enjoyment in role play along with various lands to travel, a shop to upgrade your character, and much more. If you aren’t use to role play then we can train you at the Training Chamber to the best of our ability. Not into role play at all? Then there is much more here then just that. Discuss the large world of entertainment, post stories you have wrote or discuss them, and even enjoy the great interaction of video games.

The boards known as RPG lands and RPG profiles use serious RP. The party zone is for fun RP.

How to Role Play (for a more in depth explanation see Blue Streak's FAQ, these are more like guidelines):

-Do NOT use :: :: * * ~ ~ or anything like that to describe actions, and do not type: "Bill: Hello!" to describe dialougue. Actual RPs should be typed like stories:

"Hello!" Bill yelled as he ran up to the old abandoned shed.

That is story mode. Not:

Bill: Hello! ::runs up to shed::

-Describe everything in detail. Every movement your character makes, every feature about him/her, should be described. Instead of saying:

::kills you::

Say:

Bill pointed his cold, black pistol at the man and pulled the trigger without hesitating. The bullet surged through his forehead and out his skull, killing him on the spot.

Describe EVERYTHING. The more detailed RPer always wins.

-Have a well developed character. In RPs, you will not play as yourself; or you can, but you will refer to yourself in the third person. You must create a character, give him/her a personality, history, appearance, etc.

-Tell the story in Third Person Limited. This means that you will only know the thoughts and only see things through your characters eyes, and will not know what is happening in, say, the room next to your character. You only know what your character knows.

-Do NOT ignore your fellow RPers actions. If your opponent or friend does something in an RP, it happened, thus you cannot dismiss it; in your reply, respond to what they did. That is what role playing is, a story told with several authors known as RPers.

-Know the terms OOC and IC. OOC means Out of Character, IC means In Character. While IC you will be controlling your character, while OOC you will be talking as yourself. Do not mix the two. If you have to go OOC while in an RP, type what you have to say in between (()).

-Be realistic. Do not just come back to life or get shot by a giant cannon and emerge unharmed. No Godmoding. Find a way to counter an attack, or take the damage.

Rules:

1. No Godmoding.

2. No n00b RPing, you must type in story form with good spelling and grammar.

3. Your character must be a human, elf, or something along those lines. The RPs here are not about funny people-for that, go to the Blood High.

4. If it's an RP post, try not to talk OOC to much so we can stay on topic.

5. No flaming other groups just for the hell of it outside of the RP.

As the need arises, I will add more rules to this post. If there are any questions, concerns or criticisms, post them here.
